Patient - Provider Text Messaging#21

It’s our core miission to elevate patient provider engagement. One way we plan to do deliver is by providing bi-directional messaging right in the app. If a patient has questions or needs assistance, they can send direct text messages to their provider.

Likewise, when the provider wants to send encouragement or helpful suggestions to the patient they can send texts messages that the patient will see in the app.

We believe there needs to be feedback and communicatiion flowing in both directions for this collaboration to work. We also understand their needs to be reasonable expectations around ability to reply. So we are considering ways providers or patients can update their avaiability status or office hours, or leaving automated messages until they can reply in person.

We would love to hear more feedback or ideas around this topic so we can deliver the best experience for both parties.
